Wheel and tire shop software

This is not tire-dealer software. It's for the shop that sells a wheel-and-tire package — often on a truck that's also getting a leveling kit and a set of steps — and needs the fitment, the sensors, and the torque spec to live on the ticket.

The package is the sale

A customer doesn't buy wheels and then separately buy tires and then separately buy mounting. They buy "20x10s on 35s, out the door." That's one installed-price package: four wheels, four tires, four TPMS sensors, mount, balance, relearn, and the lug hardware if the seat type changes. One number on the counter, one line on the work order, and the parts and hours underneath it so you can see whether that number still holds when wheel cost moves.

Fitment detail belongs on the work order

Wheel work goes wrong in specifics, and specifics are what tickets usually lose. The things worth having written down where the tech will actually see them:

  • Staggered fitments — a 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear is two SKUs, two tire sizes, and a rotation rule the customer needs to be told about.
  • Offset and backspacing — the difference between a clean fit and a fender liner you're trimming for free.
  • Bolt pattern, hub bore, and centering rings — the small part that gets left out of the box.
  • Lug seat type — conical, ball, or mag, and whether the customer's existing lugs can be reused.
  • TPMS sensors and the relearn — which sensor, and whether the vehicle needs a procedure or just a drive cycle.
  • Torque spec and the re-torque — the spec on the ticket, and a scheduled reminder to get the customer back in for the check.

Put those in the package once and every ticket for that fitment carries them, instead of depending on which advisor wrote it up.

Live wheel and tire availability

Wheel inventory is a guessing game — nobody stocks every finish in every offset. Search Turn 14 Distribution inside the work order across 800,000+ parts and 450+ brands and you get your dealer cost, MAP, and warehouse availability on the line. Your own SkuLabs shelf levels sit next to it, so "do we have four of those sensors" is answered before you book the appointment.

When the wheels go on a lifted truck

Most of our shops sell wheel-and-tire packages next to lift kits, bed covers, and tint. That's the point of being in one system: the same truck, the same customer record, the same thread of texts and emails, whether this visit is 37s or a 6-inch kit. And the set of 24s the customer looked at and passed on stays on their record as a declined package with a follow-up already scheduled.

Where we're not the right answer

We are deliberately not competing with tire-dealer software, and if you are a tire dealer first, buy one of those instead. The mature tire-specific systems have been built since the late 1980s around things we simply do not do: national-account and fleet billing, tire registration, casing and retread tracking, DOT and federal reporting, and deep tire-line inventory management. If your business is tire volume with accessories on the side, that's their lane. If it's wheel, tire, lift, and accessory packages sold by the build, it's ours.
