Connect Turn 14 Distribution

With your own Turn 14 API credentials saved, UpfitOS shows live cost, MAP, and warehouse stock from your dealer account right on the work order — your pricing, your stock, no separate supplier tab.

What you need

  • An active Turn 14 Distribution dealer account
  • A login for the Turn 14 dealer portal at turn14.com
  • An owner login for your UpfitOS site

Get your API credentials from Turn 14

  1. Log in to your dealer account at turn14.com.

  2. Open your account settings and look for an API or Integrations section. Turn 14 issues API access as a credential pair: a Client ID and a Client Secret.

  3. Create the API credentials if you haven't before, or locate the existing pair. Copy both values — treat the Client Secret like a password.

Don't see an API section in your portal? API access may not be enabled on your account yet — contact your Turn 14 rep and ask them to turn it on.

Caution

The Client Secret is a full credential for your dealer account's API access. Never send it by email or text — not even to us. Type it directly into the UpfitOS setup page, and nowhere else.

Enter it in UpfitOS

  1. Log in to your UpfitOS site as the shop owner and go to Settings → Integrations. Only the owner login can open this page.

  2. On the Turn 14 Distribution card, enter the Client ID and paste the Client secret into its field.

  3. Click Save. The Client ID stays visible on the card (it's an account identifier, like a username). The Client Secret is stored encrypted and the app never shows it again — the field displays a (saved) placeholder, and leaving it blank on a later save keeps the stored secret.

  4. Click Test connection. UpfitOS asks Turn 14 to accept the credential pair and shows the result right on the card. A pass here means work orders will price against your own dealer account.

If the test fails, re-copy both values from the Turn 14 portal — a stray space or a truncated paste is the usual culprit — and save again; saving overwrites what's stored. If the credentials look right and it still fails, your account's API access may be inactive: check with your Turn 14 rep, or email support@upfitos.com.
